I'm not able to access GIFTS Online using Google Chrome

When signing in to GIFTS Online using the Google Chrome browser, you may be prompted to install SilverLight repeatedly.

Please be advised, Google Chrome will be removing Netscape Plugin Application Programming Interface (NPAPI) plug-in support in 2015.
As GIFTS Online is built on MS Silverlight, a NPAPI plug-in, all users currently using Chrome are advised to switch to different browser (Internet Explorer or Firefox) as soon as possible.

As of April 15, 2015 (Chrome v.42), all NPAPI plugins have been disabled by default.

Users attempting to login with Chrome will be prompted to download and install Silverlight. However, the install process for Silverlight will not function as expected and you will not be able to access the GIFTS Online.
Short-term Solution:
Please note that Google Chrome plans to completely discontinue support for Silverlight in September.
In the interim, the following steps may be taken to re-enable Silverlight support.

1. In your URL bar, enter: chrome://flags/#enable-npapi
2. Click the Enable link for the Enable NPAPI configuration option.
3. Click the Relaunch button that now appears at the bottom of the configuration page.
NOTE: This only works for Chrome 32-bit on Mac and Windows. 64-bit versions of chrome are still unsupported.
