Error: Subquery returned more than 1 value. This is not permitted when the subquery follows =, !=, <, <= , >, >= or when the subquery is used as an expression - When trying to preview results in query builder

When building a constituent query, you may encounter the following error when trying to use the count function. "Subquery returned more than 1 value. This is not permitted when the subquery follows =, !=, <, <= , >, >= or when the subquery is used as an expression." 
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. From Analysis, select Information Library.  Click Add an ad-hoc query
  2. Select Constituent
  3. On the left, select Contact(primary)
  4. From the middle, move Lookup ID to the lower right
  5. Select Lookup ID in the lower right, click the Greek E icon and select Count.
  6. Click preview results
