Editing a membership level causes the expiration date to change

When editing the membership level of an existing membership on a constituent's record to another level their expiration date may change automatically
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.

In the meantime just change the expiration date to the proper date after the membership level is changed. Once the date is correct click the save button.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Click on the Constituent tab > search for a constituent
  2. Click Memberships on their constituent record
  3. Click the other tasks dropdown and select edit membership details (Take note of the expiration date)
  4. Click the level dropdown and change the membership level 
  5. Note that the expiration date has changed
