When using an ODBC connection with a custom Crystal Report, bringing in the STATUS field from the PROPOSAL table only displays numbers in the report and not a text of the actual status.
The numbers seen in the PROPOSAL table's STATUS field are foreign keys to the TABLEENTIRES table. This is where all code table entries are kept.
You may not be able to see this table in Crystal Reports due to an object limit Crystal Reports places on connections to databases. This issue is documented in the SAP Community Network: http://scn.sap.com/thread/1953845
Alternate Solution: Create a formula in the Crystal Report to convert the numbers to their corresponding text equivalent as viewed in the TABLEENTRIES table.
