Changing the Send renewal to person when renewing gift membership does not update field

When when a gift giver is renewing a gift membership, if you try to change who the renewals send to, you may find that the send renewal notice to field does not update on the membership record.
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. From gift giver's record, select Add membership
  2. In the Add membership window, select Giving membership to someone else
  3. Change the Send renewal to to Primary member and complete payment
  4. Go the the membership record
  5. Select Other tasks
  6. Select Edit renewal information
  7. See that Send renewal notice to is still set to Giver
