Statement of Activities shows 0.00 beginning balance when sorted by Net Asset Class

When running the Statement of Activities sorted by Net Asset class there is a zero dollar beginning balance. When running the same report without the Sorting we see a beginning balance. 
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.

Steps to Duplicate

1. Go to Reports> Financial Statements> Statement of Activities
2. Create a new Statement of Activities for Fiscal Year
3. On the Columns tab set up a column for each Class and one to include all Classes
4. Preview the report, see a beginning Balance for All Classes column
5. Go to Reports> Financial Statements> Statement of Activities
6. Create a second Statement of Activities with same columns as Step #3
7. On the Format tab highlight Sort
8. Select "Show detailed change in net assets by characteristic" on the drop down menu for Change in Fund Balance section format
9. Preview Report, note that there is now a 0.00 beginning balance for All Classes
