When I book a facility rental, the sales tax doesn't show up

When creating a group sales reservation that has flat rate pricing, no sales tax applies, even if the reservation has a program on the itinerary that has tax.  The taxes do apply when using per ticket pricing.
The intention of flat rate pricing is to replace per tickets price for a flat rate, so we cannot add taxes onto a flat rate, as Altru does not know how to calculate tax on a ticket price, since there is only a flat rate.

Instead, change the flat rate price to include the tax.
  1. Go to Sales > Group Sales > Group sales settings.
  2. Go to the Flat Rate Pricing tab.
  3. Click on the flat rate scale on this reservation.
  4. Click Edit rate scale under Tasks.
  5. Change the price that the group pays.
  6. Click Save.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Go to Sales > Group Sales.
  2. Click Add.
  3. Enter the patron, date of visit, reservation name, arrival time, departure time, and type and number of visitors.
  4. Select a quick itinerary that includes the program that is in your flat rate scale.
  5. On the pricing structure tab, select flat rate and choose a flat rate scale that includes a program that has a tax applied to it.
  6. Click Save.
  7. See on the reservation that no taxes are generated.
  8. Under Pricing, click Edit pricing structure and choose Per Ticket.  Click Save.
  9. See that taxes appear under Other Adjustments.
