Prospect Research Request Email Alert logic

The following details are for the Prospect Research Request logic for Email Alerts that an Application User is able to have enabled within Email Preferences.

To access/enable these alerts go to Administration > Security > Application Users, Open the appropriate record, and go to the Email Preferences Tab.

The following alerts are sent to the specific Application User that was added as the "Requested By User" for the research request and has the appropriate Alert enabled: 
  1. Prospect research request assigned alert: When a research request has the Change Status for Assigned selected to assign the request to a specific application user, an alert is sent to the user the request was assigned to
  2. Prospect research request cancelled/rejected alert: When a research request is marked cancelled/rejected, an alert is sent to the user it is assigned to
  3. Prospect research request completed alert: When a research request is marked completed, an alert is sent to the user it is assigned to
  4. Prospect research request created alert: When a new Research request is opened/created, the Requested by user that is assigned to it receives an alert
  5. Prospect research request edited alert: When a research request is edited, an alert is sent to the user it is assigned to
  6. Prospect research request unassigned/pending alert: When a research request is marked pending or unassigned from the original user, an alert is sent to the user it is/was assigned to
The following alerts are sent to all Application User that have the Alert/s enabled below, regardless of the research request they are assigned to:
  1. Prospect research request constituent assigned alert: When a constituent is assigned a Prospect with a request, an alert is sent
  2. Prospect research request constituent cancelled/rejected alert: When a Prospect for a constituent is cancelled/rejected from a request, an alert is sent
  3. Prospect research request constituent completed alert: When a Prospect for a constituent is marked as completed, an alert is sent
  4. Prospect research request constituent created alert: When a Prospect is added to a request via a Task, an alert is sent
  5. Prospect research request constituent edited alert: When a Constituent is edited that is assigned as a Prospect for a request, an alert is sent
  6. Prospect research request constituent unassigned/pending alert: When a Constituent is marked as a pending Prospect or unassigned from a request, an alert is sent
