To view the Students - Returning vs New report:
  1. Go to Reports > View.
  2. From the Category drop down, scroll all the way down and select Student Reports.
  3. Click Run for the Students - Returning vs New report.
  4. Select the appropriate School Year.
  5. Select New from the New or Returning drop down.
  6. Click Generate Report.

To create a list of newly enrolled students:
  1. Go to Lists > View All.
  2. Select the List Templates tab.
  3. In the Template Category drop down select Constituent Information.
  4. Click View/Copy for Students by Current Grade.
  5. Select the Filters tab.
  6. Under Global Filters, click the User-added image to add a new row.
  7. In the Field drop down, select User Register.Enroll Date.
  8. In the Condition popup, select User Register.Enroll Date: on or after.
  9. Keep "custom" selected in the drop down menu below that.
  10. In the empty field, enter the date.
  11. Click Select.
  12. In the Display Fields tab, click Select Fields... in the bottom-left.
  13. In the popup box:
    1. Click the User-added image to expand User Base.
    2. Click the User-added image to expand User Register.
    3. Select Enroll Date.
    4. Click Select
  14. Click the Select Objects tab.
  15. Expand User Base on the right.
  16. Un-check User Detail and User School Defined Fields (to make them outer joins).
  17. Enter a Name for your list.
  18. Click Save.
  19. Click Preview in the bottom-right to view the list's results.
