Error: The section could not be loaded. Value was either too large or too small for an unsigned byte - when opening a constituent record

When opening a constituent record, the error The section could not be loaded. Value was either too large or too small for an unsigned byte may appear on the top of the constituent record where the tiles that contain contact info and household info usually appear.
This error can be caused by hyphens in the name of a constituency or multiple constituencies on the constituent's record. Editing the constituency's name should resolve the issue.

Identify the constituency causing the issue
  1. Click Constituents > Constituent Search
  2. Search for and select the constituent
  3. Click on the Personal Info > Constituencies tab
  4. Take note of any constituencies with a hyphen character
Edit the Name of the Constituency
  1. Click Administration > Code Tables
  2. Go to the Biographical category > click Constituency
  3. Click the arrow next to the constituency's name > Click edit
  4. Delete the description and retype it into the text box
  5. Click save

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Go to Constituents > constituent search.
  2. Enter and select the affected constituent name.
  3. At the top of the constituent record, see the error: The section could not be loaded. Value was either too large or too small for an unsigned byte.  This is at the top where the constituent tiles should be.
