To add countries:
  1. Go to Administration
  2. Under Configuration, click Countries and States
  3. To add a new country, click Add at the top of the list
  4. Enter the name of the country in the Description field
  5. Choose an Address Format in the Address format drop down. 
  6. Enter the Abbreviation and ISO 3166 two-letter code. (Note: You can find these on the ISO website: https://www.iso.org/obp/ui/#search/code/) 
  7. If desired, choose a standardized phone format
  8. Click Save add the country
To add states: 
  1. Go to Administration 
  2. Under Configuration, click Countries and States
  3. Click on the hyperlinked name of a country
  4. You will see all of the states that exist for that country in your database. To add additional states, click the Add button at the top of the list. 
  5. Enter the name of the state, province or region under Description (Note: You can also find the states and their abbreviations on the ISO website by clicking on the name of the country: https://www.iso.org/obp/ui/#search/code/) 
  6. Add the Abbreviation 
  7. Click Save to add the state to your database
