Error: Error create application failed: Unable to connect to the remote server - when creating a Social Media Application in NetCommunity

When attempting to create the Social Media Application in NetCommunity you receive the Error: Error create application failed: Unable to connect to the remote server.
If your organization hosts the NetCommunity Web Server, you must allow all outgoing traffic. If outbound traffic is blocked, the connection to Janrain cannot be made.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Follow Jainrain/Support documentation guide and receive error entering in domain in Social Media tab in the Netcommunity Guide on page 36
  2. Follow all the steps for configuring Janrain
