Because Luminate Online is a permission based email system and adheres to DMARC standards, a participant's email address cannot be the "From" address when sending emails from the Participant Center.
The "From" (or "Sender From" email address must have a valid SPF record recognizing Luminate as an authorized sender of your organization's email. If the participant's email address was set as the "From" address, many email providers would consider this email spoofing and deliverabilty would decrease noticeably.
Consequently, the participants email address is considered the "Reply To" address. When a target receives an email from the participant and then selects "Reply", the system will generate the participants personal email address as the destination rather than the "From" address.
