Membership name on card format is incorrect

After selling a membership through Daily Sales and printing membership cards, the name on card does not follow the default name format setup on the benefits tab of the membership.
This issue has been resolved in version 5.0. All sites have been updated in April 2018. If you experience this error, please chat with support to provide the exact steps that were taken.

You will need to change the card format in the specific membership program. This will recognize the correct print card process when printing one off's from an individual record.
  1. Go to Memberships
  2. Click on the hyper linked name of the specific membership program
  3. Go the Benefits tab
  4. Click Edit
  5. Choose the correct name card format from the drop-down list
  6. Save

If a constituent has a customized name format on their constituent record the membership card will follow the format in the name format defaults section of Altru. We are currently evaluating this functionality and will update this article when we have more information.

Steps to Duplicate

Check the name format on the Membership 
  1. Click Marketing and Communications > Name format Options
  2. Take note of the default name format options

Edit the name format that exist on a Constituent's record
  1. Click Constituents > Constituent Search
  2. Click on the Personal Info tab > Click on the Personal tab
  3. Click the arrow next to name format > Click edit 
  4. Click on custom > add a custom name format
  5. Click save
Add a Membership
  1. Click Add membership on the constituent's record
  2. Choose the membership program and level
  3. Scroll down to the "Which Members should Receive  a Card" section 
  4. Take note of the name on the membership card
The name format on the membership card will match the format in the default name formats section
