Custom price type creates additional inactive button on Daily Sales screen

You may notice that when creating a button in Daily Sales for a program that uses custom price types, even if you create two different buttons per price type, one of the buttons is greyed out. This only happens when using custom price types within program events.
We are currently evaluating this issue.  We will update this article when we have more information.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Create a new Scheduled Program. Add two price types (e.g. Adult and Child).
  2. Add two scheduled events for the program, both occurring at the same time. Save.
  3. From the program event, click 'Event list.' Click the first scheduled event. From Prices, delete one price type. Save.
  4. Return to the main program page. Click 'Event List" and choose the second scheduled event. From Prices, delete one price type -- the opposite one deleted in Step 3.
  5. Add a button to Daily Sales for this scheduled program for the first price type using either “one button for next available time” or “one button for each event time.”
  6. Repeat same as above, but using the second price type
  7. Go to Daily Sales. Notice grayed out button.
