A constituent is marked as deceased and a ‘Deceased date’ exists on their record. When using a ‘Constituent Update Batch’ to changed the deceased date it is not changing when committing the batch.
Download and install the latest Service Pack which contains all fixes from previous patches. If you are running an older version, download and install the latest version and then the patch.
Steps to Duplicate
1. Click add an individual from the Constituents functional area 2. Enter a last name 3. Click save 4. Select the personal info tab 5. Click mark deceased 6. Deceased date = any date in the past 7. Source = any source 8. Click save 9. Click mark reviewed from the tasks menu 10. Copy and past the lookup id for the constituent 11. Select batch entry from the Constituents functional area 12. Click add 13. Batch template = constituent update batch 14. Click the search in the constituent field 15. past the lookup id in the lookup id field 16. Click the link to show advanced search options 17. Mark the box to include deceased records 18. Click search 19. Select the constituent 20. Click the customize fields button 21. Add is deceased 22. Add deceased date 23. Click save 24. Is deceased is yes 25. Deceased date = today's date 26. Save and close the batch 27. Select the batch 28. Click Commit 29. Click start 30. Return to the personal info tab of the constituent record
