Why does a donor's name appear as null null in the participant center?

When logged into a participant center, I see a donation listed in the Recent Activity section, but it shows the name "null null". The donor's name appears correct elsewhere, why is it wrong in the participant center?

This occurs when the participant center address book contains a contact for the donor's email, but does not contain their name. To correct this issue, have the participant follow these steps:

  1. Log into their participant center
  2. Go to their Address Book
  3. Search for the donor's email address
  4. Edit the contact record associated with that email address, and update their name in the Address Book
  5. Once the changes are saved, log out, and log back in

The correct name will now appear instead of null null.
