Error: Page Unresponsive - When opening, selecting, or Copying a specific Marketing Effort with a long Description

When users open or make a copy of a specific affected marketing effort which usually has a high number of characters in the Description field, the Direct Marketing Effort Page in BBCRM freezes and becomes unresponsive. When this issue occurs, an error message appears, but the specific error message text depends on which browser is being used. In Chrome, it is the error message.

Steps To Duplicate

1. Navigate to the Marketing and Communications functional area > Direct Marketing Efforts.
2. Click the down chevron next to the affected marketing effort > Copy.
3. Notice the page freezes, becomes unresponsive, and an error message occurs.

Workaround: Delete the affected marketing effort's description before making a copy of it.

Answer:

Download and install the latest service pack/hotfix which contains all fixes from previous service packs. If Blackbaud hosts your database, create a case with Support to request this release be applied to your environment.
