When processing a recurring gift batch, the error Error: An error has occurred while uploading the transaction batch. The Raiser's Edge cannot connect to the Blackbaud Payment Service for the secure storage of new or updated credit card information. The Raiser's Edge requires a connection to Blackbaud Payment Service. Please check your internet connection and attempt to save the record againappears. No authorization or rejection codes come back to The Raiser's Edge.
When checking in event viewer, the warning: Error: -2146232832; Error: Data could not be saved because one or more of the ID values specified have already been used appears.
Users might also receive the error An error occurred while uploading the transaction batch: An error occurred communicating with the Blackbaud Payment Service. Date could not be saved because one or more of the ID values specified have already been used.
Recreate the batch
This can occur in Recurring Batches that have been used repeatedly or through multiple updates to The Raiser's Edge. It can occur in other situations as well, but if this error is received, the batch must be recreated.

1. Open existing recurring batch 2. Click Tools > Authorize Credit Card Transactions or Tools>Create EFT Transmission File 3. The error message appears
