Calculating counts in marketing efforts takes longer after updating to 4.0

After set up has been completed on a marketing effort the counts can be calculated to update the various segments.  You may notice after upgrading from a version of the software using on the Smart-Client to a more recent web interface version, the calculate segment count process takes longer
The query logic in this reported incident was unnecessarily complex and required additional time to process after the upgrade.  Instead of using the Revenue query type, for faster processing we suggest using the Revenue (from the Blackbaud Data Warehouse) query type.  

Steps to Duplicate

1. Go to Marketing and Communications
2. Select Direct Marketing Efforts
3. in the 2.9 data find the Effort 
4. Click the link to view the calculation status
5. This was done in 2.9 and it took 40 minutes
6. We've copied this effort and recalculated in 4.0 and it took 1 hour and 29 minutes.
