Why did my Constant Contact email transfer create a list with no email addresses?

The Constant Contact Transfer ends in a failure. When creating a new list, it will successfully add the list name, but no accounts are added to the list.  When adding to an existing list, no new accounts are added.
This may be caused by email addresses in invalid formats. Please contact support and provide the Article ID for reference to your issue.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Log into database
  2. Click the down arrow next to Communications
  3. Click Transfer Email Addresses
  4. Select the Category and Query
  5. Choose to create a new list or add to an existing list (neither work, Selecting to Create a New list will create the list in Constant Contact, but will not add the email addresses to the list.
  6. Click Transfer
  7. Receive failure email
  8. Check the list within Constant Contact and see that it is empty
