Error: The credit card is not properly stored with the Blackbaud Payment Service. Enter the credit card information again.

When users manually enter credit cards and validate the batch they receive the error: The credit card is not properly stored with the Blackbaud Payment Service. Enter the credit card information again.  
When the users enter payments via the Add Payment form, they are able to authorize the same credit cards successfully.  
We're currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future patch or service pack.  

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Entered constituent, appeal and credit card details into batch.
  2. Updated projected totals.
  3. Validated batch – error received:  (1) The credit card is not properly stored with the Blackbaud Payment Service. Enter the credit card information again.  Error message – always occurs at validation
  4. Manually added payments via Add payment form- successful authorization
