In The Raiser's Edge there are many fields and functions that can be accessed in order to complete daily tasks. Some organizations like to minimize the amount of access a specific user has, based on their role and activities to perform. There are some users that need the highest rights possible, we consider those users as a Supervisor. In order to be considered a Supervisor a user needs specific rights.
A user is a Supervisor if one of the following occurs:
1. The user is logging in as the Supervisor username. 2. The user is marked with Supervisor rights and is not part of a security group. 3. The user is in a security group that has rights to Admin, Security.
Please feel free to review the difference between these types of Supervisors.
