Error: Unable to connect. Please ensure connectivity or contact support- when logging into the Mobile app

When launching the mobile app, users are receiving the error Error: Unable to connect. Please ensure connectivity or contact support.  After multiple attempts of closing and re-launching the app, users will then be redirected to the Accounts screen and receive the error Request Error The Application Server is reporting an unhandled error. Please contact the System Administrator.  
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Launch the RE: Mobile app on your iPhone/iPad/Android device
  2. Error: Unable to connect. Please ensure connectivity or contact support. error appears
  3. Close out of the app and relaunch the app until the error disappears
  4. User is redirected to Accounts screen and is prompted with the Request Error The Application Server is reporting an unhandled error. Please contact the System Administrator. error
