The eStore inventory items are not in alphabetical order when display order is set to the same number

Entering in the same number for multiple items on an item does not display those items in alphabetical order when viewing the category of items
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Log into Blackbaud NetCommunity 
  2. Navigate to eStore Administration 
  3. Click on Inventory
  4. Add an inventory item with the name Apple, in the display order put a 0, include this and all other items in the same category and fill in the other required fields. 
  5. Add an inventory item with the name Bananas, in the display order put a 0 and the other required fields
  6. Add an inventory item with the name Doughnut, in the display order put a 0 and the other required fields
  7. Add an inventory item with the name Carrot, in the display order put a 0 and the other required fields
  8. Check the estore catalog and click on the category that you placed the items in above. 
  9. Note that the items are not in alphabetical order
