Exception in Email Campaigns

When sending out an email message to an Education Edge generated list in NetCommunity form an email campaign the following exception is thrown:

System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

The EE Persons list type does not work with Email Campaigns at this time.  Use the specific query type for Email Campaign recipients being pulled from EE, ie. Faculty, Student, Individual.

We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Log into netcommunity and browse to the email campaigns section
  2. Open the campaign
  3. Create a new appeal and send a message using the test
  4. Observe exception
