This issue may occur when a required gift field is no longer marked as required in The Raiser's Edge gift configuration settings. To return the missing gift field column as a default in a new batch, please take the following steps:
  1. Login to The Raiser's Edge
  2. Go to Config > Fields > Gift
  3. Mark the Required checkbox for the missing gift field
