On the constituent record, when going to Documentation and Interactions\Constituent Documentation, notice that when clicking on the arrow next to a media link that the Open file link is grayed out in Internet Explorer 11. This does not occur in IE 10.

 

Possible solutions:

  1. Use Internet Explorer 10 or another browser to open the link to open the link
  2. Store the file you want to open locally instead of via network storage
  3. Copy and paste the link 

Steps to Duplicate

1. Go to a constituent record that has a media link on it.
2. Media link are found in  Documentation and Interactions\Constituent Documentation, documentation type will be Media link
3. Click the double arrow to the left of the document and see three buttons: Open file, Edit and Delete.
4. Notice that the Open file button is grayed out if viewed in IE 11. In IE 10 this does not occur.
