CRM does not store specific rejection codes to determine what is considered provisional vs permanent. It relies on codes returned from BBPS to determine what is provisional vs permanent. The 4 possible codes returned from BBPS are:
1. NotApplicable = 0
To be considered a provisional rejection, it must fall into the AutoRetry category. General decline codes do not map back to AutoRetry as the card expectation is that the merchant won’t continuously spam the transactions but instead have the cardholder call the bank and resolve the issue. The mapping we have set is based on the likelihood of the transaction reprocessing.
