When running the Recurring Gift Missed Payments report users are seeing wait times of several minutes

The Recurring gift Missed Payments report takes a long time to complete when just running it for today with no other filters
We're currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future patch or service pack.  

Steps to Duplicate

1. Go to Revenue >  Recurring Gift Missed Payments
2. Run the report for today
