I have a custom data sync that pulls data from Salesforce and inserts it into Luminate Online. My sync has been failing with the error "Error: Unable to select data com.convio.datasync.realtime.ConnectorException: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out" when viewing the data sync progress page. What does this error mean?
The error indicates that the query being run in Salesforce to populate the data is timing out and no results are returned. When a query takes longer than 120 seconds in Salesforce, the query will automatically timeout. If this error occurs, try re-running your sync later to see if the results are returned more quickly. If the problem persists, please contact Luminate Support so the Salesforce query can be adjusted.
