A sustaining gift was set up in the wrong campaign and merchant account. Is it possible to move this sustaining gift to be processed in a different merchant account and campaign?
When a sustaining gift is created, the credit card is immediately encrypted and sent to the Payment Gateway and the credit card is stored in your payment processor for subsequent gifts to be processed in the future. Once the credit card is stored in the payment processor, it isn't possible for Luminate to reach in to the payment processor and forward that information to another source. Theoretically, we could make it possible to change the campaigns of a recurring gift, but that could cause confusion in reporting since the money is still technically being processed through a different gateway and payment processor. With that said, the sustaining gift would have to be cancelled and recreated in the correct campaign.
