Default parameters are not defaulting on custom report that was created in SSRS

A custom report created in SSRS has parameters that should default .  When opening the report in CRM, the parameters are not defaulting correctly or are blank.
1. Open the report in SSRS via the report manager url (http://myreportserver/reports).
2. Click on the parameters tab.
3. Mark the 'Has Default' checkbox for any parameters that should default.
4. Select the appropriate 'Default Value'.
5. Click 'Apply' to save your changes.
