Error: Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding - when performing various actions

When performing various task in the software a timeout message is being given. This may be seen when running a process, searching for constituent records, saving records or adding records to batches.
We're currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future patch or service pack.  

Steps to Duplicate

1. Go to constituents
2. Search for a constituent
Timeout expired.

OR

1. Go to administration
2. Import
3. Start an import process
Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding

OR

1. Go to Constituents
2. Add an individual 
3. Enter the desired information into the form
4. Click Save
Search list entry could not be translated. Timeout expired.
