Fatal Error: Config record - when logging into REMobile

When logging into the RE Mobile App, users receive the error: Fatal Error: Config record with id=4730 doesn't exist. Your config may be corrupted. If the problem persists, try deleting application data. Users are unable to access the app.
This issue was resolved by a configuration change to the RE Mobile internal servers.

Try the following steps, in order, until the error is resolved:
  • Clear the RE Mobile App's data on your mobile device. While the process may vary by device and operating system, steps can be found here
  • Attempt to log in again.

Steps to Duplicate

1. Launch the RE Mobile app from a mobile device
2. Log in with System Key and credentials
3. Fatal Error: Config record with id=4730 doesn’t exist. Your config may be corrupted. If the problem persists, try deleting application data.
4. App crashes
