A reminder process can be used to send reminders to constituents who have a Sponsorship payment past due. This is a letter using merge fields that include the nest installment due date. When this process is run, the next installment date field is outputting the original gift date rather than the next installment date.
We're currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future patch or service pack.
Steps to Duplicate
Create Word merge file with out of the box "Sponsorship Reminder Output" fields already entered
Go to Marketing and Communications functional area
Create a new reminder process
Upload the letter from step 1
Choose the Output Type: "Output Format"
Choose the Output Format: "Sponsorship Reminder Output"
Go to the Analysis functional area
Select Information Library
Add an Ad-hoc query (Revenue view)
Create a selection of sponsorship revenue (Needs to be past due to show up)
Run the process
Merge the output in word
Notice the NEXTINSTALLMENTDATE pulls the original gift date, not the next installment date
