Unable to add a hyperlink in an e-mail using IE 11

Unable to add a hyperlink in an e-mail using IE 11. When highlighting the text to link and selecting the link option in the available tools, the link is not added and the editor shows <>
This has been resolved in Service Pack 18 (4.0.180.1804). Please download and install the latest Service Pack or Hot Fix which contains all fixes from previous patches.

Steps to Duplicate

1. go to Marketing and communications > packages > email marketing
2. Select view emails
3. Edit an existing mailing
4. Add some sample text in the e-mail body
5. Highlight the text and select the link tool
6. Enter a url to another site and click ok
7. Note the text you highlighted is not linked and an additional <> is added
