I am locked out of GIFTS Online and am not getting password reset email

When you can and when you cannot receive a password reset e-mail for GIFTS Online
After multiple failed login attempts into GIFTS Online, a user account is considered locked out. The default threshold setting is 3 failed attempts.
After 3 failed login attempts, users will see a message appear on the login page: 
 
The maximum number of login attempts has been exceeded. Login METS09 has been deactivated. Please contact your GIFTS Online lead for assistance

After receiving this message, if you click on the Forgot Password link to reset your password, please note that you will not receive an e-mail to reset your password. At this point your account is considered "deactivated." In order to have your account reactivated, you must contact MicroEdge Technical Support, otherwise your account will remain deactivated.
