How are totals on the Campaign Summary Report calculated?

This article explains how the Total Raised, Received, New Commitments, and Planned Gifts amount

Total Raised 
  • Represents how much has already been received and how much exists as new commitments. 
  • Matching gift claims are never included in "Total Raised" reporting 
  • Only planned gifts added as revenue should are counted 
Received
  • This includes all revenue received excluding planned revenue
  • Only planned gifts added as revenue should are counted 
  • Matching gift claims are not included 
New Commitments 
  • This shows the total amount of new commitments that have come in during the given time period of the goal. 
  • Includes pledge payments, pledges and grants, subtracted by how much has been written off for those pledges
Planned Gifts
  • Includes proposed revenue that have been added to a prospects records and applied to this campaign but they are not yet added as revenue
