The Error messages that may occur when a user is being removed are as follows:

Error: The DELETE statement conflicted with the REFERENCE constraint "FK_user_citizenship__user_main". The conflict occurred in database "ds172_school_prog", table "dbo.user_citizenship", column 'user_id'." while deleting a user.

This is due to the Users Citizenship, in order to Delete the User you will need to remove the Citizenship field from the Users Record.

To do this navigate to:
  1. Core > User/Access > Profile
  2. Search for the User
  3. In Personal Information, click Edit
  4. In Citizenship remove the Data
  5. Click Save & Exit
  6. Then scroll down to System Information
  7. Click Remove User
  8. Click Delete
  9. A pop up asks "Are You Sure?
  10. Click Ok if you indeed want to delete the user, and Cancel if you do not want to actually delete the user from the system.
Error: The DELETE statement conflicted with the REFERENCE constraint "FK_reg_registrant_item_attendee_count_reg_registrant_item". The conflict occurred in database "ds172_school", table "dbo.reg_registrant_item_attendee_count". This means that the User Registered for an Event and needs to be deleted and if payment was received, a refund will need to be issued via your payment gateway as this is not processed in our system.

This is due to the Users registering for an onBoard (Admissions) Event Registration, in order to Delete the User, you will need to remove the Registrant from the Event.

To do this navigate to:
  1. onBoard > Settings > Event Registration 
  2. Click Edit next to the name of the Event Registration the User is registered for (if you are unsure of which one that is, you can check which Event(s) they are registered for via onBoard > People Finder > Search the name of the User. Under Events, you will see the name of the Event they Registered for)
  3. Click into the name of the User
  4. Click Delete Registrant
  5. Click Ok
  6. Follow the steps in How do I delete a user from the system? to remove the User from the System
