The Acknowledgement process has a preliminary step where revenue is assigned a specific letter that drives the eventual content of the acknowledgement which is sent to the donor in receipt of their gift. In some circumstances the assign letters process is taking several minutes to complete or never finishes.
We're currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future patch or service pack.
Steps to Duplicate
1. Go to Marketing and Communication 2. Select Acknowledgements 3. Select the Letters tab 4. In the bottom frame select the Assign letters process 5. Click Start Process
