You can add New or Existing News Stories to the Featured Content area, if you've enabled Featured Content.
To check that Featured Content is enabled: 1) Navigate to Core. 2) Click Settings > Featured Content. 3) Set "Show this section on the persona navigation (located under news) to Yes.
Note: This affects all users.
To add existing news to Featured Content:
1) Navigate to onMessage. 2) Click Content > News. 3) Click on your News Category. 4) To the right of the news story, click the yellow pencil/edit icon. 5) Set Show on Featured to Yes. 6) Save.
To add newnews to Featured Content:
1) Navigate to onMessage. 2) Click Content > News. 3) Click on your News Category (or create a new Category by clicking +Add New Category in the upper right corner. 4) Once in the News Category, click +Add in the upper right corner. 5) Create your news story, and set Show on Featured to Yes. 6) Click Save, or Save & Add Another.
Your News will now show under News > Featured Content.
