Revenue category does not pull into matching gift payment

When adding a payment to a matching gift payment you may see that the revenue category is not listed even though the original payment has a revenue category. 
We are currently evaluating this issue and will update this article when we have more information.

To add the revenue category after the payment is added follow these steps:
  1. Open the matching gift claim payment.
  2. Below Application Details select Edit.
  3. Select the Revenue Category from the drop-down menu and click save.
  4. The Revenue Category will now be listed on the payment.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. From any constituent record add a payment including a revenue category.
  2. Select the Matching Gifts tab and click Add to add an organization or if one is listed select the match amount.
  3. From the matching gift claim select Add Payments under Tasks.
  4. Add a payment and note that you cannot edit the application details.
  5. No Revenue Category is listed on the payment.
