Error: Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding. – when running a consolidated receipt process.

A receipt process generates receipts for the specified parameters. A consolidated receipt process gives the consolidated revenue for a constituent (often a year-end total). This process is timing out after running over 20 hours.
We're currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future patch or service pack.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Go to Marketing and Communications functional area
  2. Select Receipts
  3. Run year-end receipt process
  4. This runs over 20 hours, then times out
