When trying to save a query as a dynamic selection, you may encounter the error  Unable to save query definition. Maximum stored procedure, function, trigger, or view nesting level exceeded (limit 32).
This error can occur when nesting too many queries. This is a limitation of SQL server and can be avoided by saving the query as a static selection.

Steps to Duplicate

When trying to save a query as a dynamic selection, you may encounter the error  Unable to save query definition. Maximum stored procedure, function, trigger, or view nesting level exceeded (limit 32).
  1. From Analysis select Information library
  2. Click Add an Ad hoc query
  3. Go to the set save options tab and mark create a selection and dynamic
  4. Save and you will get the error
