The Blackbaud Management Console is the program used to manage the Raiser's Edge, The Financial Edge, The Education Edge and Blackbaud Student Information System databases. It provides a graphical user interface (GUI) to manage Blackbaud databases running on a SQL Server database engine.
The Blackbaud Management Console is used to administer your Blackbaud databases, including backups, restores, and other maintenance. It is also used to create the Deploy Kit, the installation package for workstations in a network environment. It is also installed on standalone workstations to control database maintenance functions, such as backups.
