The deleted user's name will remain on records that he or she added or last changed. Once the user name is deleted from Security, though, the user name is no longer available to be queried on directly. A query can be created, however, to group records added by or last updated by all deleted users.

To find constituent records added by deleted users:
  1. Click on Query in the left menu.
  2. Click on New Query at the top.
  3. Select Type of Constituent and Format of Dynamic.
  4. Click OK.
  5. On the Criteria tab under Constituent Information fields, double click on Added By.
  6. In the new window, set the operator to not one of. Click >> to move all of the user names from the left to the right list.
  7. Click OK.
  8. On the Output tab, add the following fields:
    • Constituent Information > Added By
    • Constituent Information > Constituent ID
    • Constituent Information > Name
  9. On the Sort tab, add the following fields:
    • Constituent Information > Added By
    • Constituent Information > Sort Key
  10. Click Results tab to review the records.

To find constituent records last changed by deleted users:
  1. Click on Query in the left menu.
  2. Click on New Query at the top.
  3. Select Type of Constituent and Format of Dynamic.
  4. Click OK.
  5. On the Criteria tab under Constituent Information fields, double click on Last Changed By.
  6. In the new window, set the operator to not one of. Click >> to move all of the user names from the left to the right list.
  7. Click OK.
  8. On the Output tab, add the following fields:
    • Constituent Information > Last Changed By
    • Constituent Information > Constituent ID
    • Constituent Information > Name
  9. On the Sort tab, add the following fields:
    • Constituent Information > Last Changed By
    • Constituent Information > Sort Key
  10. Click Results tab to review the records.

To find gift records added by deleted users:
  1. Click on Query in the left menu
  2. Click on New Query at the top
  3. Select Type of Gift and Format of Dynamic.
  4. Click OK.
  5. On the Criteria tab under Gift Information fields, double click on Added By.
  6. In the new window, set the operator to not one of. Click >> to move all of the user names from the left to the right list.
  7. Click OK.
  8. On the Output tab, add the following fields:
    • Gift Information > Added By
    • Gift Information > Gift Amount
    • Gift Information > Gift Date
    • Constituent > Constituent ID
    • Constituent > Name
  9. On the Sort tab, add the following fields:
    • Gift Information > Added By
    • Gift Information > Gift Date (or other desired sort field)
  10. Click Results tab to review the records.

To find gift records last changed by deleted users:
  1. Click on Query in the left menu.
  2. Click on New Query at the top.
  3. Select Type of Gift and Format of Dynamic.
  4. Click OK.
  5. On the Criteria tab under Gift Information fields, double click on Last Changed By.
  6. In the new window, set the operator to not one of. Click >> to move all of the user names from the left to the right list.
  7. Click OK.

    • Gift Information > Gift Amount
    • Gift Information > Gift Date
    • Gift Information > Last Changed By
    • Constituent > Constituent ID
    • Constituent > Name
  9. On the Sort tab, add the following fields:
    • Gift Information > Last Changed By
    • Gift Information > Gift Date (or other desired sort field)
  10. Click Results tab to review the records.


NOTE: The examples above can be replicated in nearly any query type. Look under the"_____ Information" fields in the Query (the third query group of fields) for the Added by and Last Changed By fields.
