Error: The total value of the benefits cannot exceed the revenue amount - When attempting to change Amount to $0 when it has a Benefit associated

When attempting to edit a Revenue Amount to $0 that has a Benefit associated with it, the error below is received and the Benefit is unable to be edited as the Benefit button is greyed out on the Revenue tab in the Revenue Update Batch:

Error Received: The total value of the benefits cannot exceed the revenue amount
We’re currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future release.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Go to Revenue > Batch Entry and create a Revenue Update Batch
  2. Add the Payment record that has a Benefit associated with it
  3. Set Amount field to $0, then press the Tab key
  4. Click Yes on reset recognition credits based on new amount
  5. Update the Projected Totals
  6. Validate the batch
  7. Note the error received: The total value of the benefits cannot exceed the revenue amount.
  8. Go to the Revenue tab and note that you are unable to click on the Benefits button as it is greyed out
