Error: The value for 'Date', '28/01/2016', is not a valid date according to the supplied date format dd/MM/yyyy. Please enter a valid 'Date' - When conducting ERB Import

When conducting an Enhanced Revenue Batch import that uses the Date Formats below and with browser Language settings of English (Canada), the following error is received during the Import process:

Exception message: The value for 'Date', '28/01/2016', is not a valid date according to the supplied date format dd/MM/yyyy. Please enter a valid 'Date'.

Date Formats used:
 
Date format: dd/MM/yyyy
Fuzzy dates: MM/yyyy
Month/day format: M/d
We’re currently evaluating this issue for a fix in a future release.

Steps to Duplicate

  1. Go to Administration > Imports
  2. Create an import process using an out of the box Enhanced Revenue Batch template
  3. Create/use an import file that meets your organizations needs and meets minimum requirements for import process (Click Help button in CRM for more information)
  4. Click Next
  5. Click Auto-map on the Map fields tab
  6. Go to Date format tab and setup the formats as follows:
  • Date format: dd/MM/yyyy
  • Fuzzy dates: MM/yyyy
  • Month/day format: M/d
  1. Click Save
  2. Prior to Starting the process, complete the following changes in the browser settings (Chrome or IE)
    1. Go to options > settings
    2. Expand "Show advanced settings"
    3. Under Languages section, click Manage languages link
    4. Click Add button, then add English (Canada) and move it to the top of the list
    5. Click Done and close the Settings tab
  3. Click Start Process for the Import
  4. Note the error received: Exception message: The value for 'Date', '28/01/2016', is not a valid date according to the supplied date format dd/MM/yyyy. Please enter a valid 'Date'.
  5. Remove the Language "English (Canada)" and run the Import process again
  6. Note that it completes successfully
