1. Open the report in Crystal Reports
  2. Delete the old fields from the report design or formulas; anywhere the fields are being used
  3. Save the changes and close out of Crystal Reports
  4. In the Blackbaud application, open the Export
  5. Remove the old fields and add the new fields
  6. Re-export the data to the .MDB data file
  7. Open the report in Crystal Reports again
  8. Go to Database > Verify Database
  9. Go to Database > Database Expert and add the new tables
  10. Go to the Links tab and make sure all Join Types are set to Left Outer Join
  11. Click OK
  12. Insert the new fields into the report
